Full Description
NB there is no obvious mill lade in this area. Checked on the 1st & 2nd ed OS. They show an old quarry in this area, that has shrunk in size by the time of the 2nd ed OS.
There are no obvious watercourses that could be mill lades at this stage. Possible that Wolfburn Distillery to N ((ND16NW0213) took water from the Burn, but no evidence of this on maps checked.
Need to check where the OS took this ref from - HAW 2/2003
