A farmstead comprising an unroofed building and adjoining enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xvi). A second unroofed long building lies to the S of the Allt Torigill. Two unroofed buildings, both of two compartments, are shown on the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
