Correct GR for this should therefore be c313496958014, not GR given by RCAHMS which is to farm sidte. NB there are already two mounds reported in this area so this might be a re-recording of one under another number - check - HAW 12/2004
ND15NW 30 138 578
Mr Robert Murray noted a cist burial exposed 'at a field entrance about 50' W of the edge of the mound (ND15NW 8) nearest to the Halkirk Road'. Two large stones (? capstones) and stones on edge are exposed. Information contained in letter Trevor Cowie, RMS to RCAHMS, 19 June 1990.
