No obvious marks were visible inside the bowl depression, a possible drainage channel was noted from the bowl to the outer edge of the stone nearest the river.

Information from Mr T S F McLean, Assistant Registrar, Brora, from the farmer of Sciberscross Farm, Rogart, Mr R Boa "it lies between the park dyke and the river bank and may be best located by looking over the dyke" "there is a stone with a depression in the top at the side of the River Brora downstream from Sciberscross Burial Ground which was the Baptismal Font for the people who lived in that area prior to the 1812 clearances."
