NC51SE 53 5530 1452
A small crescentic mound sited 22m SE of corner of plantation. It measures 7.5 (NNW-SSE) by 4.5m, standing up to 0.7m high on its NW side. The central hollow, orientated NE-SSW, is c.1.5m wide, and opens to NNE onto boggy ground. The mound is mutilated to the SSW by 2 modern drainage ditches and possibly overlain by an adjacent turf dyke which runs E-W down a slope.
Visited by RCAHMS (SMF) 13 October 1989.
