NC51NW 30 5468 1504

This concentric burnt mound is situated on SW side of a low outcrop in open moorland about 180m NW of a forestry plantation. It measures 7m from ESE to WNW by 5m transversely and 0.7m in height; the hollow in its open side faces into boggy ground on the SSW and measures 2.2m in length by 2m across the mouth.
Surveyed at 1:10,000 Visited by RCAHMS (SH) 17 October 1989.
