Full Description

NC60SE 22 6906 0456.

At NC 6906 0456, on a terrace high up in a NW-facing hillside, is a hut circle. Some rickles of stone to the west may denote associated field clearance. The hut is reduced to a heather and turf-covered platform, 10.5m in diameter and 0.2m high, with walling residue on the periphery. No entrance can be recognised.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
Visited by OS (J M) 7 October 1980.

This hut-circle is situated on the edge of a terrace on the N side of Creag Bhlarach. It measures 7m in diameter within a stone-faced bank at least 1m in thickness and up to 0.3m high. The field clearance identified by the OS appears to be natural. At the back of the terrace, 25m to the SSE of the hut-circle, there is a subrectangular pen measuring 4m by 2m internally.
