Full Description
NC55SE 28 5581 5285.
At NC 5581 5285, on a west-facing slope within the confines of a deserted township, is a hut platform, set into the slope and measuring 14.0m NW-SE by 12.0m. The back-scarp containing some stone is 0.9m high, but there is no evidence of walling around the front apron. The entrance was probably from the south-east. There is no trace of associated cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:10 000. Visited by OS (NKB) 5 December 1978
