OS 6"map, (1964)

A burnt mound, situated adjacent to the Allt a Chnoic Leith and below the settlement of NC63NW 14, is 'U' shaped and heather-covered. It measures 7.5m N-S by 10.0m and 1.2m high with the open end in the S. The composition of the mound has been revealed by erosion of the burn's bank in the S, exposing a content of blackened earth, burnt stone and charcoal.
