Full Description
NC64SE 52 6898 4409.
At NC 6898 4409, beside a burn and close to a hut circle (NC64SE 3) is a burnt mound. It is sub-circular measuring 10.5m N-S by 10m and 0.7m - 0.8m in maximum height. A shallow depression about 2.0m in diameter on NW side is likely to be the result of later disturbance. Rabbit scrapes show a content of black earth and friable stones.
