Full Description
NC70NE 17 7758 0863.
NC 775 086. Situated on the left bank of the Allt Poll a' Choire is a large heather-covered mound, probably an old kiln. It measures 14.0m N-S by 17.0m E-W with a maximum height of 1.3m. An elongated hollow running NW-SE occupies the centre of the mound.
Surveyed at 1:10,560. Visited by OS (WDJ) 29 April 1964.
No change since previous OS investigator (Shown but not described in 1:10,000 map). Visited by OS (WDJ) 12 August 1975.
NC 7758 0863. This is not a kiln but a burnt mound, dimensions as described by OS investigator (WDJ).
Visited by OS (NKB) 30 July 1981.
