This cairn - identified during previous field investigation (OS {E G C}) - is on a rounded ridge and is mainly heather-covered. It is 8.8m diameter by 0.7m high with an excavation hollow in the centre; the periphery is delimited by earth-fast slabs contiguous in the south half, the downslope side, and intermittent elsewhere, but the latter state is probably due to peat silting.
Revised at 1/10,000.
Visited by OS (E G C) 5 May 1961 and (J M) 16 March 1977.
