Full Description
GR corrected to above to locate S hut from modern OS - HAW 3/2004
NC64SE 45 678 437.
Centred at NC 678 437, in undulating ground, are two turf and heather covered hut circles ('A' and 'B') and associated field clearance heaps. Hut 'A' appears as a poorly defined platform, measuring about 7m E-W by 6m within an extremely vague wall, 0.1m high and spread to 2m at the entrance in the east.
'B' also survives as a platform measuring 12m E-W by 9.5m within a slight wall best preserved on S side of the entrance in the east arc, where it is pread to 2.3m wide and 0.3m high.
The field clearance is scattered over a small area around the huts. Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 8 August 1978.
