Full Description

At NC 6750 4273, on the gentle, SE face of a rise on a high moorland plateau, is a hut circle accompanied by a minor field system. The hut, set into the slope, is heavily peat covered by measures an estimated 9.5m diameter overall; no entrance is apparent. The wall is best-preserved in the SE sector where it is visible spread from 1.5 to 2m and 0.4m external height; some stone is visible in the hut exterior here. The field system is distinguished by stone clearance heaps spaced from 5 to 15m apart along the slopes N and W of the hut; no measurable plots are evident.
