('A' : NC 6183 4622 'B' NC 6183 4623) Enclosures (NR)
OS 6"map, (1962)

Two small circular enclosures, situated within the depopulated crofting area of Leitir Mhor (NC64NW 4) and mutilated by related farming activities. In neither is an entrance apparent.
'A' consists of an earth and stone bank about 1.2m thick and 0.1m to 0.7m high and measures 12m by 11m. Field clearance stones have been dumped in its centre.
'B' is vaguer, 9m in diameter with only a course of turf-covered stones marking the perimeter. Clearance heaps occur on the bank and in the interior.
Visited by OS (J L D) 30 April 1960.

These features lie within the deserted settlement of Leitir Mhor, with which they appear to be associated.
'A' is unlikely to be a hut circle; it comprises a semi-circular scarp onto which small piles of clearance have been dumped. A large early modern clearance heap immediately to the west completely covers any feature which may have existed there.
'B' is a fortiutous arrangement of stony baulks and field clearance associated with Leitir Mhor.
Revised at 1/10,000.
Visited by OS (J B) 10 September 1978.
