Full Description
NC64NE 7 6648 4661.
At NC 6648 4661, on E bank of a dry watercourse, is a burnt mound measuring 5.5m in diameter by 0.8m high. It is peat-covered but probing reveals black earth and fragments of heat-stained and friable stone. Against the E arc of the mound a rough setting of protruding stones encloses a sub-oval space 1.5m by 2.0m.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 11 July 1978.
