Full Description
NC60NW 22 6128 0707.
NC 6128 0707. Set into a north-facing moorland slope is an ill-defined hut circle, its turf cover contrasting with the heather around it. It measures overall 12.0m E-W by 10.0m transversely; the wall survives as a rim of tumbled stone which appears to have been disturbed rendering the details obscure. The entrance was probably in the east are where the greatest disturbance has occurred. The hut is situated at the south extremity of an area of scattered stone clearance heaps occupying about a hectare; no measurable cultivation plots are evident.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (N K B) 13 March 1981.
