Full Description

At ND 0094 6509, on the lower NNW slopes of the Hill of Shebster, is a heather-covered mound, approximately 10.5m in diameter and 0.9m high. On its summit there is a depression about 4.0m in diameter, at the SE edge of which are two upright earthfast stones. The paucity of the remains does not allow certain identification, but the most likely explanation is that it is a cairn.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
Visited by OS (J B) 11 September 1981.
