Tumuli marked on 1st ed OS centred to GR given above - HAW 6/2004

Tumuli (NR) OS 6"map, Sutherlandshire, 1st ed., (1873)
A group of 3 or 4 mounds of ordinary, low, grass-covered type.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.
These are field clearance heaps.
Visited by OS (E G C) 3 July 1963.
In addition to heaps noted above a further four or five scattered clearance heaps lie 150m to NNE. These mounds are of a type usually found in asociation with hut circles, but neither huts or measurable cultivation plots are evident at either location.
