NC60NE 8 6893 0621.
At NC 6893 0621, on a south-facing hillside, is a hut circle with an associated field system.
The hut measures 11.0m by 10.0m within a wall reduced to a heather-covered rubble spread some 2.0m broad and 0.2m high. The entrance is in the south-east on the line of the long axis.
The field system comprises an even distribution of stone clearance heaps, spaced from 15.0 to 25.0m apart, and tenuous traces of lynchets. There are no measurable plots.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 8 October 1980.
This hut-circle is terraced out from an ESE-facing heather-covered slope about 170m S of Loch an Fheoir. It measures 10.8m in diameter within a stony bank best preserved on the NW where it is 1.2m thick and up to 0.6m high; elsewhere it is only 0.2m high. One facing stone is visible on the NW and there are others at the entrance, which is on the SE. There are a number of small cairns in the heather to the S, scattered over an area measuring about 170m N-S by 80m transversely.
