OS 6" map (1961)

This is a sub-oval stone-walled enclosure set in the end and near the top of a south-east facing spur. It measures internally 7.0m NE-SW by 5.5m; the wall is turf-covered, spread to 2.0m on average and at highest 0.4m. No entrance is visible and there is no evidence of cultivation in the vicinity. It is probably some form of animal fold associated with the deserted settlement of "Coulshade" 500m to the north-east (See NC54SE 1).
