OS 6" map (1961)
This is an isolated circular enclosure situated on a level shelf, and measuring 14.0m in diameter within a turf bank about 2.0m broad and 0.1m high. The only evidence of stone-work is an undoubtedly early modern wall extending for 1.0m either side of the entrance in the east-south-east arc; this wall is coursed, 1.3m thick and 0.3m high, and though it is possible that it overlies an existing feature, it is more likely to be reinforcing of the entrance to a turf-built sheep-fold, almost certainly of the post-clearances period. There is no evidence of cultivation in the area.
