Full Description

NC53SE 9 5810 3417.

At NC 5810 3417 in gently sloping N-facing moorland is an oval hut circle. Set into the slope in the SW and built up in the NE, it measures 10.5m SE-NW by 7.5m internally. The turf and heather covered wall is spread to 2.5m - 3.5m wide, and survives to 0.6m high in the SW and 0.2m in the NE. The simple entrance is in the SE. About fifteen clearance heaps lie in close proximity to the hut; no plots are visible.
