NC 265 541. Stonework on and around two mounds, 45 ft and 40 ft in diameter and each about 4 ft high.

At NC 2652 5405, on level ground above the N side of General's Loch, is a turf covered cairn. It measures some 14.0m in diameter by 0.7m high, and the W periphery is well delineated by an arc of intermittent stones the largest of which, 1.2m long and 0.6m by 0.7m appears to be a living rock; no other significant details are visible. Obscure footings of a bothy-type structure occupy the central area of the cairn.
38 metres N is a turf-covered mound some 11.0m in diameter by 0.6m high, the central area occupied by the obscure footings of a bothy-type structure. The mound bears superficial similarities to the cairn, but it lacks the formal plan form and profile, and there appears to be living rock in its content. It is almost certainly natural. Surveyed at 1:10,000.
