NB GR above corrected to western of 2 circles as marked on modern OS, eastern now numbered separately - HAW 11/2003
NC50SE 37 5855 0184.
At NC 5860 0185 and NC 5851 0182 are two stone-walled hut circles (A and B respectively) in association with a minor field system. The situation is rising moorland open to the W. The huts are much reduced and are completely peat-covered. The field system comprises three or four stone clearance heaps within relatively stone-free grounds in the immediate vicinity;measurable cultivation plots are not discernible.
'A' is about 9m NNW-SSE by 7.5m internally, with an entrance from the SSE.
'B' is about 6m N-S by 5m E-W internally with an entrance from S.
