Full Description

Small circular hut, 13 1/2 ft externally.
Information from Dr C S Sandeman, Durness, 14 March 1967.

Not a circular hut but the footings of a crudely-constructed early modern enclosure or bothy, situated on a limestone ridge at NC 3870 6770. It is square with rounded corners, measuring 4.0m across overall; the wall, just protruding through the turf, is 0.8m wide.
