Full Description
NC46SE 15 Centred on NC 456 606.
A minor deserted settlement comprising a long-house, 29.0m by 4.0m, and a detached corn-drying kiln in a formerly cultivated area, superseded by a shepherd's house, now ruinous, and a sheepfold.
Visited by OS 28 November 1978.
A farmstead comprising four unroofed buildings and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xv). The farmstead is shown as two unroofed buildings and an enclosure on current edition OS 1:10,560 map.
