NC45NW 8 414 550.
(NC 4137 5505) Hut circle.
Information from Dr C S Sandeman, Durness, 2 March 1959.
No hut circle can be located in the area indicated, but at NC 4136 5505 is a small group of early modern structures (see NC45NW 21), and at NC 4150 5503 are three almost contiguous piles of stones, purpose uncertain. One of these features may have been misinterpreted as a hut circle.
Visited by OS (A C) 3 June 1959 and (N K B) 8 November 1978.
