NC45NW 11 4379 5713.

NC 4377 5717. A heather-covered mound beside road, S of United Free Church may be a Bronze Age cairn.
Information contained in letter and field notes from K Reid 25 September 1978.

At NC 4379 5713, adjacent to an old stream course (the stream having been diverted), is a heather-covered burnt mound, oval on plan, measuring 8.5m by 5.0m and 1.5m high. Heat-stained friable stones are exposed in the side of the mound. There is no trace of hut circles or a field system in the vicinity.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 8 November 1978.
