(Centred NC 4740 5775) Stone-lined pits.
Information from Dr C S Sandeman, Durness, 2 March 1959.
Not found during investigation. According to Dr Sandeman these 'stone-lined pits' were identified by Mrs M E C Stewart, but he considers them doubtful.
Visited by OS (A C) 3 June 1959.
The map reference of the alleged stone-lined pits places them within a minor field system (NC45NE 19), but no pits can be identified.
