Full Description
NC50NE 69 5835 0881.
At NC 5835 0881, in a marshy stream valley in open moorland, is a heather-covered burnt mound, which has been quarried and denuded, so that its original shape and size are uncertain. It now measures about 12.0m across and 0.8m high. Its content of burnt stones and black earth is exposed in a rabbit hole, and many burnt stones lie on the surface. Surveyed at 1:10,000.
