Full Description

NC50NE 59 5948 0765.

At NC 5948 0765, on the lower slopes of a spur is a stone-walled hut circle oval in shape, measuring internally 11.5m N-S by 10.5m E-W within a low tumbled wall spread to 2.5m broad, but severely mutilated and denuded. A modern field wall intrudes onto the wall in the NE. The entrance, of which no details survive, is in the S. A stone clearance heap lies on the wall in the SW arc; only one other clearance heap can be identified, but the immediate area is relatively stone-free suggesting former cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:2500 and 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (N K B) 13 August 1976.
