Full Description
NC50NE 58 5869 0753.
At NC 5869 0753, at the edge of a marshy area and close by a stream, is a kidney-shaped burnt mound, overgrown with heather and peat. It measures 13.0m NE-SW by 11.0m transversely, and is 0.8m high. The re-entrant faces the stream. A probe into the mound indicates a content of burnt stones.
Surveyed at 1:2500 and 1:10,000.
