Full Description
NH79NE 17 7971 9893.
The remains of a circular enclosure were discovered adjacent to the deserted cottage at NH 7971 9893, about halfway up the slope of a hill. From its dimensions and location it is possibly a hut circle. It measures 9m diameter from top of bank to top of bank, the spread of which varies from 2-3m and 0.5m high, with an apparent entrance 1.5m wide in the S.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (R B) 3 September 1966.
