Full Description
What are probably the remains of a circular cairn are situated on the crest of a low rise about 470m NW of Greentulloch steading and 100m WSW of the standing stone ND13SE 29. Covered in a thin blanket of peat, it measures about 10.5m in diameter by 0.6m in height. Several boulders protrude through the grass and short heather, but the only visible disturbance is the result of the construction of a turf dyke across the cairn from N to S; this now carries a wire fence and forms a T-junction with a second fence that crosses the N side of the mound from E to W.
Visited by RCAHMS (SPH) August 1997
At ND 1594 3254, on the spine of a low ridge, is a heather and turf-covered cairn, 11m E-W by 10m transversely and 0.4m high. The angle of a fence has been set into it.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J M) 11 November 1982.
