Full Description
NH79NW 25 centred on 744 968.
NH 744 968. Scattered over a N-facing hillslope is an extensive deserted township comprising at least 24 buildings, mainly reduced to their footings, several rectangular kailyards and larger enclosures, and a corn-drying kiln, with much evidence of associated cultivation. It was probably abandoned in the early 19th century.
There is a later sheepfold at NH 7412 9717.

A township comprising three unroofed buildings, six enclosures and a length of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet cix). Twenty-one unroofed buildings, eight enclosures and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1969).
