NC 632 344 and NC 633 344: on the NE-facing slopes of Round Hill are two earth and stone banked enclosures, the southern-most containing one 'U'-shaped, crudely formed, stone shelter, and the northernmost containing the remains of five shielings bothies, averaging about 5m by 3m. The area within both enclosures shows traces of run-rig ploughing, with bare stone clearance heaps within the southern one. The 'U'-shaped structure is probably later than the shielings, possibly a lambing shelter.
Visited by OS (WDJ) 11 May 1961 and (JB) 24 March 1977.

Two enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet liv). Two enclosures, with five unroofed shieling-huts lying within the enclosure to the N and a U-shaped structure lying within the enclosure to the S, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
