NC70NW 70 7486 0906

At NC 74860 906, adjacent to an old stream course and near a number of hut circles is a heather-covered burnt mound, oval in shape measuring 11.0 by 10.0m. It possesses twin summits each 1.2m high. Burnt stones are visible in the eroded surface.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 23 June 1981.
