NC70NW 59 7087 0660

At NC 7087 0661 and NC 7090 0659, in the upper margin of hut circle-associated field clearance, are two round cairns (A and B respectively). The cairns are flat-topped and peat-covered.
'A', on a slight rise, measures 5.0m across by 0.4m high and has a bounding kerb of intermittent stones.
'B', on a spur, measures 6.0m across approximately by 0.5m high and shows occasional edging stones in the W half. An arc of kerb-stones lies displaced on the E side.

Two flat-topped burial-cairns are situated in a locally prominent position at the SE end of a ridge on which there is a also scatter of small cairns (see NC 70NW 58).
The NW cairn (ROG95 181, NC 7087 0660, OS'A'), which lies on the crest of the ridge, measures 5.9m in diameter by 0.4m in height and is surrounded by an intermittent boulder kerb. There is a small depression in the centre.
The second cairn (ROG95 180, NC 7089 0658, OS'B') is situated on a slight spur projecting to the SE of the ridge. It measures 5m in diameter by 0.5m in height and is bounded by an intermittent kerb of boulders.
