Full Description
NC73SW 19 7201 3103.
At NC 7201 3103, on the north bank of An Crom-allt and adjacent to the footings of a shieling (See NC73SW 24), are the remains of a hut
circle of which the SE half has been eroded by the burn. It measures 8.5m across within a turf-covered wall 0.2m high. Occasional inner and outer facing stone on edge indicate a wall thickness of 1.7m. There is no entrance in the existing remains.
There is no trace of associated cultivation in the immediate vicinity of the hut, but it may be linked with the huts and clearance heaps a short distance to the SE.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
Visited by OS (J B) 10 May 1977.
