Situated on a SW facing steep hillslope at an altitude of 130m-160m OD in rough pasture.

Three hut circles (A, B and C) and a natural feature (OS {J M}) (D) which was originally thought to be a hut (OS {W D J}), lying on a level area on a SW-facing slope. They were discovered during field investigation in 1961. Another hut (E) was discovered at NC 7798 1591 during field investigation in 1975.
'A' lies on a slight rise and measures about 6.5m in diameter within a wall spread to 1.5m broad but destroyed by soil slip on the west. No entrance is identifiable.
'B' is set into a slight slope and measures 9m in diameter within a wall spread to 2m broad. No entrance is visible.
'C' is oval measuring 8m NW-SE by 7m within a wall spread to 2m broad. The entrance is in the SE.
'D' is a natural feature resulting from a fortuitous arrangement of stones and peat silting.
'E' lies in a slight hollow and measures about 9m in diameter with a wall spread to 2m. The entrance may be indicated by a depression in the SW arc.
Contemporary cultivation is marked by stone clearance heaps, mainly in the vicinity of hut 'E', and one or two rickles of linear stone clearance, but no pattern of cultivation plots is discernible.
