Full Description
NC75NW 79 707 565.
At the foot of a steep west facing rocky slope, are 2 heather covered hut circles. The first hut at NC 7069 5656 is 9.5m in diameter within a spread wall 2m wide and 0.5m in average height. The entrance is in the south. The second hut at NC 7073 5652 is 7m N-S by 5.5m within a spread wall of 1.7m average width and 0.5m high. The entrance is also in the south. Contemporary cultivation is represented solely by half a dozen to a dozen scattered clearance heaps. A later bothy lies adjacent to the larger hut circle. It is nearly square measuring 4.0m internally; its dry stone wall 1m wide and 0.4m high.
