Full Description

NC74NW 17 7113 4562.
On level ground in open moorland is a solitary heather-covered hut circle measuring 8m in diameter within a wall spread to 2m broad and surviving to 0.2m internal height. One or two large stones of an outer retaining wall survive, and the entrance of simple form is in the SSE arc. There are no stone clearance heaps or lynchets visible but the area around the hut is relatively smooth and stone-free, characteristic of associated cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 18 December 1978.
