Full Description

Centred: NC 862 035 On undulating moorland is a settlement of three oval stone-walled huts of similar construction ('A' - 'C').
The are orientated NW-SE each with an indeterminate entrance in the SE arc and vary in internal dimensions from about 9.5m by 8.5m to 10.5m by 8.5m, within a heather-covered wall spread to about 2.0m. The best preserved ('C') has two slabs on edge marking the inner face in the NW arc.
There is evidence of cleared ground to the W of hut 'A' and on isolated knolls in the vicinity, and several stone clearance heaps, but no measurable field plots are evident.
