Full Description
Centred on NC 744 545, along S facing shelving ground is a settlement of four heather-covered hut circles (A-D). Internal dimensions vary from 9.0m diameter in both huts A and D to 14 by 11m and 12 by 9.5m in B and C respectively; an entrance in each is from the S quarter, the line of the long axis when applicable; in hut C it is clubbed. Hut B is the most substantial with a wall standing to 0.7m and spread to 3m; in the others walls are 0.3m high at best, and range in spread between 1.5 and 2.5m. The only evidence of associated cultivation is the odd stone clearance heap nearby, on relatively stone-free ground.
