Full Description

NC75SW 29 7271 5461.

At NC 7271 5461, at the foot of a slope on N edge of damp ground, is a burnt mound. It is truncated by an old track, and what remains measures 7.0m N-S by 4.0m and 1.1m high; a content of heat-stained and friable stone is evident. To the north is hut circle and field system (NC75SW 26).
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 12 July 1977.
