Full Description
The footings of two buildings and an enclosure with adjacent cultivation, now bracken infested pasture. Some 60m to the SW is a later shepherd's house with enclosures up to 1.5m high.
Visited by OS 10 November 1982.
NOTE: The 'later shepherd's house with enclosures' to the southwest referred to by the OS appears as three rectangular contiguous enlosures on the OS 1st Edition 6" map labelled as 'Sheepfold' and is not labelled at all on the 2nd Edition. However, vertical aerial photography shows a more complex picture - see MHG62428 [IS-L 06/08/2024].
