Full Description
An impressive complex of structures, extremely well-documented by Clyne Heritage Society. Also presence of large consumption dykes.

NC80NW 11 centred on 841 060.
Centred: NC 841 060. Within the area of Coire Aghaisgeig are the remains of ten buildings with associated enclosures and two kilns. The buildings vary in size from 28 by 3.8m to 5.3 by 4.5m with walls up to 1.0m high. Visited by OS (W D J) 24 April 1964.
A township comprising eight unroofed buildings, five enclosures, two fields and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcvii). Eight unroofed buildings, nine enclosures, two fields and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1969).
