Cairns (NR) OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1908)
This is an area of field clearance heaps, either in association with the nearby hut circles or the more recent depopulated crofts in the area. Visited by OS (W D J) 21 June 1960.
No field clearance heaps can be identified in area indicated, but some 200m to SW are numerous stone heaps associated with a hut circle (ND12NW 21).
