Full Description
On W facing slope is a kidney shaped burnt mound, its concave side facing south towards a nearby stream. It measures 11m E-W by 9m N-S, and is 1m high at the higher west end. The content of earth and burnt stone is visible on the eroded west side, and in the concavity are several large unburnt stones probably defining some structural feature, but no pattern is evident. Nearby are sporadic clearance heaps of a minor field system, probably associated with the homestead situated on a terrace some 250.0m to the north-east.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Viited by OS (N K B) 1 July 1977.
